The long term goal of White Smoke Shipping is to develop, build and operate ships and barges for distribution and Ship-to-Ship bunkering of LNG and other alternative fuels for shipping, sometimes in combination with traditional fuels.
At present White Smoke Shipping worksis involved in several projects in relation to potential clients with the goal to become the operator of the world’s first dedicated Ship-to-Ship LNG bunker vessel operation.
For these projects several solutions have been developed based on both conversions of existing vessels and new buildings with LNG capacity ranging from a few hundred up to several thousand tonnes of LNG.
One of these examples is the WS1 design developed for LNGGOT in port of Gothenburg.
